Te Puna Quarry Park is being developed by a dedicated band of volunteers from a disused quarry into a world class park. This old scar on the hillside has already become a place of special beauty. From the upper levels there is a spectacular panoramic view out over the Bay. MORE
Amazeme is a fabulous new attraction to Rotorua. 1.4 kilometres of winding hedge lined pathways take you to the centre of the maze. You are bound to get lost and are guaranteed to have loads of fun finding your way.

No play ground but plenty of room to run around and a shallow water way to splash in. There are also some nice short walk ways through the trees.
The park is partially accessible to vehicles and is open 8am – 8pm Spring and Summer during daylight saving hours and 8am – 5pm in Autumn and Winter. MORE
Very pretty falls with the look out down a very easy to walk gravel road. Easy road for a pushchair with good sized wheels, it does get a bit steep at the bottom and the last bit is narrow stairs. But its only a hundred meters ish to the view from there. Unfortunately you can’t get to the falls them selves, but its still worth the wander. MORE
